About Us

We use the creative arts (visual and stage performance) to help the older person explore  life's potential.

Art Therapy for Ageing Well

The creative process can change how we experience ageing. Have you considered trying the creative therapies to help change the way you think about stress?

Art Therapy is a form of counselling that uses the creative process of making art to help a person gain insight into how to improve their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

And you don't need to be good at art!

Sessions are offered on an individual

 or group basis.

Vintage Theatre Co-op

Vintage Theatre Co-op is a community run program which aims to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of the socially isolated older person (65+) through providing accessible opportunities to engage in the performing arts. Each year the program participants work collaboratively with the programs Artistic Director Alan Hendry to create and perform new short intimate theatre works which hope to challenge the stereotypical view that the community has of how the older person should behave and act. The program is accessed through its "Don't Act your Age"  workshops which are held at various community venues in and around Adelaide.
