'Turning Points' at The Shedley

Pivotal moments in the lives of three older people

From the creators of ‘Encounters’ (2017) and ‘Aware’ (2023) comes Vintage Creative Therapies latest co-collaboration with older theatre makers.

Featuring scenes from previous works alongside newer pieces developed exclusively for the 2025 season of Fringe at the Shedley, ‘Turning Points’ uses an eclectic mix of comedy, drama, puppetry, visuals and music to present 3 short stories linked by a purple door which acts as a portal between the pivotal moments in the lives of three older people; a homeless man, a fading author, and a woman losing touch with her community.

This performance will include music composed by Quartz Pistol, FKA Abbey Howlett, a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and performer based in Tarntanya (Adelaide) and also music from The Ollies, four friends who came together in 2020 to play guitar, sing and enjoy each other’s company.
